Don Park ran into some problems using Escrow.com to buy a domain name. I found this interesting b/c while eBay integrates with Escrow.com I've never used their service and wondered what their user experience was like. Sounds like it needs some work. One thing to note, if you do want to use some kind of escrow service you should probably use escrow.com even if their UI stinks. A number of their competitors have been found to be fraudulent.
